My family and I decided to try the place for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and we were not disappointed. Got the calamari, the Mad Dog Burger, and the brownie for the dessert. Calamari was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and the sauces paired great with it. The burger was fantastic and the meat melted in your mouth. Brownie tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. On top of that, the place has a great atmosphere and the service was top notch. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be back again!
Very cool speakeasy style atmosphere. What a great use of space! Friendly and attentive wait staff. Hubby's beef stroganoff was fantastic. I was not fond of the power bowl, but the calamari was excellent. We will definitely go back again.
This was our first time at 2FOG's. My wife & I went for dinner & a drink. Got there at 6p on a Saturday. Parked close, waited a short time to get seated, ordered drinks up at the bar, was served right away. The ambiance was nice, music was not too loud. Our waiter was nice, got our brushetta just minutes after ordering it. Ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos, my wife ordered the Beef Tips. She liked the flavorable sauce they were served in. It was a positive experience and will be going back again.
On Grand River in Howell! Wow!! Totally was not expecting a pub to be a gourmet restaurant. You enter from the back by taking the stairs down into the restaurant or there is an elevator to take you down. The restaurant reminds me bars and restaurants in Poland that are below ground. With 2fog’s there is the bar with seating, then another room and then another room! It was so unexpected. The back room is perfect for special occasions We choice to eat outside. Which was very enjoyable. Food is delicious. I had the beef appetizer with zip sauce which is homemade. It was perfect! Hubby had the three sliders with fries. We got a flight of beer and wine
We had a great dinner and drinks Saturday. The burger and nachos were delicious. Our drinks were great. I tried the Michigan Mule and like it so much I had two. This was the second time we ate here and both times were great. I definitely recommend this place if you want to grab some good food and drinks. We will definitely be back soon .
The food at 2Fogs was great! The entrance gives me a speak-easy vibe, and the interior as well as the food gives me a more sophisticated feel. I thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits and my waitress Zoe was a on top of it. Will definitely be back again!
Went for a quick dinner tonight. I had the Salmon with 2 sides(garden salad and broccoli) the garden salad is huge! Could be smaller with an entree. The piece is salmon I got was also huge and cooked perfectly! There's a small amount of lemon dill sauce on the plate... could have use more of that. Husband had Beef Tip Stroganoff was delicious.(looking forward to eating his leftovers for lunch)! For dessert I opted for the Liquid variety... Butter bliss which was Bailey's, Butterscotch and maybe Vodka? It was good but would have preferred it not served over ice... it diluted far too quickly. Hubby tried the carrot cake which was gorgeous in presentation. Lots of frosting.
Finally went to 2 Fogs for the first time for a birthday dinner. We were told the wait time was 45 minutes so left to run a quick errand but was called after just 15 minutes with a seat available so rushed right back. We were seated in the middle room which had a great vibe. I'm so glad the restaurant was nice and warm on such a cold night. My only gripe is that it took 45 minutes for our two burgers and we were both starving. I had the pub burger w/fries and thought it was soooo good! I had a side of ranch for the fries and it was some of the best ranch I've ever had. I will definitely be back and hopefully next time it doesn't take so long for our meals to come out. Maybe they were short staffed or maybe that is typical for a full house on a Saturday night. Either way, it was worth the wait! Oh and for dessert we had their brownie which was amazing! Served extra warm, topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate drizzled over it all!!
We waited for a table and it was well worth the wait. We enjoyed the peach bourbon glazed chop. and the filet mignon with zip sauce, as well as the garlic mashed potatoes and cheddar sage biscuits. We recommend all of our choices and are planning to return to try other menu items. Our server was friendly and efficient, ask for Ethan The atmosphere was loud, but it was a Friday evening and they were very busy; however, we could still enjoy conversation at our table
2Fogs is one of our consistent favorites in Howell. The food is always fantastic, the quality is excellent, and the value is really solid. We especially love their Sunday brunch and outdoor patio, but the atmosphere is great inside or out. Their dinner menu is excellent as well, and the speakeasy-style indoor area makes it a great spot for a special dinner. Service is always helpful and kind with great recommendations. Kellen specifically made our Sunday Brunch a great experience this week. Great food, great atmosphere, and always a place we enjoy coming back to.
